Karen McCabe is the CLE & Accounting Manager at the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism, where she manages accounting, approval of PR CLE courses for Illinois lawyers, and the analysis of professionalism trends.
Most recently, Karen, a Certified Public Accountant, worked independently for several small businesses and non-profits in the Chicagoland area. She served as the part-time accountant for the Commission for more than six years before expanding her role to include CLE management and joining the team full time.
Karen spent her early career working in public accounting for large and small accounting firms, as well as financial accounting positions at Fortune 500 companies.
Karen obtained her BBA from St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN.
In her free time, Karen enjoys hiking, going to concerts and spending time with her husband, Tom, two adult daughters and son-in-law.
