Chelsea Woodmansee

Office Manager & Executive Assistant

Chelsea Woodmansee is the Office Manager & Executive Assistant for the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism, where she uses her background in coordinating large, multipurpose organizations to maintain in-office processes and sanity while supporting Commission staff in their day-to-day operations.

Before joining the Commission, Chelsea was the Class & Boot Camp Coordinator at The Chopping Block, the largest recreational culinary school in the U.S., where she transformed curriculum, united colleagues, and very wisely surrounded herself with food and knowledge.

Earlier in her career, she served as Event & Sponsorship Coordinator at the Les Schwab Amphitheater and Old Mill District in Bend, Oregon, where she worked for more than a decade.

Chelsea moved to Chicago in 2017 to pursue standup comedy and improv. She won Last Comic Standing Central Oregon in 2011 and 2013 and was the first female comic in Bend, Oregon.

Other comedy accolades include TEDx Bend, the BendFilm Festival, starring in The Night Light Show, and writing, directing, producing, and starring in a sold-out run at the Second City in Chicago.

Chelsea attended Central Oregon Community College and has completed the Second City Improv Program. When she’s not at work, you can find her enjoying Chicago’s diverse food scene with her longtime partner, who happens to be a chef. They enjoy exploring the city, taking sporadic trips to nearby oddities, playing board and card games, and cooking up a storm.

Chelsea is obsessed with dogs and will stop to pet every dog she meets.
