Becky Harris

Instructional Design Manager

Becky Harris is the Instructional Design Manager at the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism, where she designs and develops innovative and interactive continuing legal and judicial education courses for Illinois lawyers, judges, and legal professionals.

Most recently, Becky worked independently as a learning strategist and learning experience designer for several Fortune 100 companies and nonprofit associations. In this role, she developed learning solutions that helped organizations translate educational content into real-world application.

Recent projects included designing a coaching-based curriculum to teach skills like advanced communication, project management, and personal growth skills; and developing the strategy to upskill medical professionals to deliver advanced, patient-centric care for a new specialty clinic opening in the Middle East.

Becky also serves on the board of a local adult literacy nonprofit organization.

Becky holds the Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) designation from the International Society for Performance Improvement and the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPLP) designation from the Association for Talent Development.

She holds a master’s degree in instructional performance technology from Boise State University and a bachelor’s in telecommunications from Indiana University.

She spends her free time entertaining friends and family, volunteering, and planning her next adventure. Becky lives outside of Chicago with her husband and a bossy Morkie.
