Martin Sinclair is an attorney with the firm of Sperling & Slater, P.C.
Prior to Sperling & Slater, Martin served as an associate at the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where he has extensive experience representing public and private companies and individuals in all phases of litigation at both the trial and the appellate levels.
Mr. Sinclair is also devoted to pro bono work in his practice and has directly represented individuals and organizations alike and worked extensively on judicial policy matters within the State of Illinois.
Mr. Sinclair received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois and his juris doctor degree from Northwestern University School of Law. Upon graduation, Mr. Sinclair served as law clerk for the Hon. William J. Bauer of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Martin is a member of the Landmarks Illinois Board of Directors, serves as the President of the Northern District of Illinois Court Historical Association, and taught appellate advocacy at the Loyola University Chicago School of Law. He is also a member of the American Bar Association.
Martin Sinclair has served on Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism since 2015. He currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Commission.
