Best Law Firms for Women in 2016

women law firmsDid you know women only comprise 34% of the attorney population?

Despite the fact that women have made up half of the law school classes for many years, they are still leaving the profession. Because of alarming stats like this, many are searching to find ways to retain women in their law firms and private practices to ensure today’s attorneys reflect the diverse populations they represent.

Working Mother and Flex-time Lawyers LLC are joining forces to determine which law firms are the most accommodating towards women.

The two organizations are looking to celebrate the firms that actively work to advance the professional careers of their female employees, especially those who juggle a heavy workload while supporting a family at home.

Currently, the duo is seeking nominations via survey to select the Top Law Firms for Women in 2016. Winners will be honored at a special awards event next year and featured in Working Mother magazine, workingmother.com, and flextimelawyers.com.

All participants will not only be considered for the recognition, but they also will receive valuable insight as to how their firm ranks compared to others across the country. On top of the free report card-like evaluation, law firms may also purchase individualized benchmarking reports that provide a more in-depth analysis of their firms’ results, revealing how to make their firms a better place for women to work and thrive.

The application is open to all law firms with fifty or more employees in the United States.

Know of a law firm that fits the title? Nominate them today. Registration for all law firms closes on February 12, 2016.
